Live casino leader Evolution Gaming added a new unique quality live game to the market, Free Bet Blackjack. This game, one of the big hits of Evolution Gaming, is the first family member of Infinite Blackjack exclusively Evolution Gaming. Apart from the game’s unlimited seats offered at a single table the same as Infinite Blackjack, double down and split bets are offered to players with no extra cost. Let’s have a look at the game rules:

Rules of Free Bet Blackjack are different from but also identical to normal Live Blackjack games. However, the basic strategy of the standard Blackjack game should be followed on the Free Bet Blackjack game too.

If we compare both games Standard Blackjack and Free Bet Blackjack;

  • Both games are dealt from an 8 deck shoe
  • The Dealer has to stand on 17
  • If the dealer has an Ace insurance is offered
  • Double down can be made on any 2 initial cards however cannot be made after split
  • Splits are allowed per hand in case of a pair, Aces can be split
  • Free double down bets are offered on 9,10,1
  • Free splits are offered on any pairs except 10, J, Q, K
  • If the dealer has a score of 22, this will be concluded as a push, winnings will not be paid and initial bets will be returned to players.
  • Six Card Charlie: Players win if they have six cards with a value of 21 or less

Same as standard Blackjack 2 cards are dealt to players and the dealer. On the Free Bet Blackjack table, players’ cards are dealt by placing them face up on the table surface. The game presenter places the cards in a sliding pocket and cards are directly displayed on players’ screens.

The beauty of this game is once the initial cards are dealt an unlimited number of players can play the game with their way of decisions without affecting each other. All players act independently using the following decision options: Hit, Stand, Double Down, Split, Insurance if the dealer’s upcard is an Ace.

The beauty of this game is not limited to individual playing option, it also offers Free bets alternatives for double down and splits, in the following circumstances;

What is a Free Double Down?

If the total value of the player’s initial card is hard 9, 10 or 11 players will be given the option of a Free Double. When players take the Free Double option, the equal value of players’ initial bet stakes is placed with no additional cost.

What is Free Split?

If the initial cards of players are a pair (10s are excluded), players will be offered a Free Split with the same logic of Free Double Down. So, the equal value of players’ initial bet stakes is placed on the split hand.

Free Bet Blackjack offers four types of side bets;

If the dealer’s up card and players’ two up cards’ total 19, 20, 21, or 3×7 (7,7,7). Even the payouts are different, the payout for 19 is 1:1, the payout for 20 is 2:1, the payout for unsuited 21 is 4:1, for suited 21 is 20:1, and payout for 7,7,7 is 100:1

This side bet is the combination of the dealer’s upcard and the two initial up cards of players. It is like a 3 card poker hand. Suited Pair pays 100:1, Straight Flush pays 40:1, Three of a Kind pays 30:1, Straight pays 10:1, Flush pays 5:1.

This bet pays out according to the number of the cards the dealer has when they bust. 3 cards pays 1:1, 4 cards pays 2:1, 5 cards pays 9:1, 6 cards payouts 50:1, 7 cards pays 100:1, and 8+ cards payouts 250:1 This side bet is like an insurance against dealer busting with 22.
